Full Time | 3–6 Month Maternity Cover
£13.69 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a Business Support Coordinator to join a busy and supportive Children and Young People’s Service in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking to make a meaningful impact within a vital public service.
About the Role
As a Business Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the service. You will provide high-quality administrative and coordination support to teams working with children, young people, and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support across the service
- Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and manage schedules
- Maintain accurate records and data systems
- Handle enquiries from internal teams and external stakeholders
- Support service delivery through efficient organisation and communication
Requirements
- Relevant qualification/previous experience in an administrative or business support role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office
- Experience within public sector or social care (desirable)
- Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult Workforce) on the Update Service is essential
