Job Overview
We are currently recruiting Household Waste Hand Sorters for a busy recycling and waste management facility in Knaresborough. This is a full-time role with immediate starts available. PPE is fully provided.Key Responsibilities
- Manually sorting household waste on a conveyor belt
- Separating recyclable materials in line with site guidelines
- Removing non-recyclable or hazardous items
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with household waste
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous waste or recycling experience is beneficial but not essential (full training provided)
