HGV 2 Sweeper Drivers – Camberley

We are urgently requiring 2 HGV 2 Sweeper Drivers to work with our client in the Surrey Heath Camberley area. These are full time roles initially for a period of 3 months. Working hours are Monday – Friday 7.30 – 4.00 pm.

Role Purpose

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Sweeper Driver to join our clients team. The role involves operating and maintaining road sweepers and other HGV vehicles to ensure cleanliness and compliance with operational and safety standards.Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 2 road sweepers across designated routes, sites, and contracts.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks, including oil, water, tyres, and reporting any defects promptly.
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, and waste collection duties in line with company procedures.
• Complete job sheets, defect reports, and any required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service when working on client sites.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience operating sweepers or similar HGV vehicles 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

• Previous experience within waste management, construction, highways, or a similar sector.
• Knowledge of local routes and sites.
