Driver/Waste Operative

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV/LGV Driver / Waste Operative to join a busy and reliable team in Macclesfield.

This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity, with an initial 4-month temporary period and the potential to secure a permanent contract.Role Details:

• Pay Rate: £13.89 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am – 2:00pm
• Temp to Perm (4 months initial period)

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving HGV/LGV vehicles on scheduled waste collection routes
• Assisting with waste collections when required
• Ensuring safe operation of the vehicle at all times
• Completing daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
• Adhering to all health & safety and compliance regulations

Requirements:

• Valid HGV/LGV Licence
• Valid CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) Card
• Previous driving experience essential
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
